My Project
The requested snacks and drinks will help my students stay energized, focused, and ready to learn throughout the day. Many of my students came to school without having eaten breakfast or don't have access to snacks during long school days. When hunger sets in, it becomes difficult for them to concentrate, stay motivated or fully engage in lessons.
Providing these snacks ensures no student has to learn on an empty stomach.
The quick energy from a Rice Krispies treat or juice box helps them power through the mid-morning slump, water keeps them hydrated, and later. Protein bars offer longer-lasting energy and help maintain focus during the most demanding academic tasks. By meeting their basic nutritional needs, these simple items create a more equitable and supportive classroom environment where all students have the fuel they need to thrive.
