Please help me give my kids snacks for those who are hungry each day, as well as candy for when my students show an act of kindness, demonstrate outstanding behavior, and/or when it is their birthday!
Many elementary schools have a designated "snack time," but that necessary brain fuel is too often forgotten about in a busy high school setting.
Nearly every day I have at least one student in each of my classes ask me for food or for a snack, and more often than not I have to reach into my lunchbox or candy dish to help fulfill their hunger. I would love to have a snack basket in my classroom to help feed my students in need!
