My Project
I am requesting a collection of puzzles, Sudoku cubes, memory cards, and pattern blocks to create a Brain Boost Station in our classroom. These brain-based tools will be used during morning work, early finisher time, brain breaks, and STEM centers.Puzzles encourage persistence and strategy while developing visual-spatial skills. Sudoku cubes strengthen logic, focus, and number sense in a playful format. Pattern blocks help with geometry, symmetry, and spatial reasoning. Memory cards support visual memory, attention, and concentration — all critical components of learning.
These resources will help students exercise both sides of their brains — boosting memory, critical thinking, and confidence in problem-solving.
My students are curious and eager learners who thrive when given the opportunity to explore, manipulate, and problem-solve. They come from diverse backgrounds and benefit greatly from engaging, hands-on activities that stretch their thinking and challenge their brains. Many of them don’t have access to logic-based games, so bringing these tools into the classroom is a game-changer.
