Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It's a new school year and our students will be ready to learn all that is new! It's a long time between the start of the school day and lunch time. Students need something mid-morning to hold them until lunchtime. Their brains can focus on learning if they're not hungry! These snacks will also be helpful on field trips when our eating schedule is not the same as when we're at school. We will use wipes to keep our fingers and desks clean.

With these snacks, all of our second graders will get that extra boost of energy they need to remain focused for the afternoon!

We have 3 classes of kids that will benefit from this project. The snacks that we had last year really made a difference in how our students can focus between recess and lunch. This project will help our students get through to the lunch period and the end of the school day!
