Help me give my students , particularly my boys, new reading materials to increase their interest in reading and help get them going for the beginning of the new school year!

My Students

I am beyond thrilled to have a very inquisitive, energetic group of learners this year! They love hands-on activities, games and the use of technology in the classroom. Despite living in a low-income area, my students show up each day with such drive and determination.

My students deserve to have the best opportunities for success available to them.

I believe that with your help, we can continue to foster their love of learning, feed their ambition and help them to grow academically.

My Project

By donating to this project, you are offering my students the opportunity to expand their reading across nonfiction and fiction genres. We currently have some of the previous editions available in class; however, these are of high interest and the kids are dying for the next book.

Research has shown that students who are in classrooms with well-stocked libraries read more!

It is my goal to build a high-quality library this year to engage my students in reading.

By helping me build this library, you are giving my students the opportunity to travel to far-away places, slay dragons, fall in love with characters who have similar experiences, or even save the world from aliens. They'll even learn about major historical events and how science has changed the world over time.
