Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our district educates approximately 250 residential and day students in kindergarten through grade 12 who have emotional, behavioral, and learning problems. Most students reside here and live in cottages with an array of different staff members supporting them.
The computer lab is open to students in grades kindergarten through twelve.
Our classroom is designed to attract all ages and has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere of happiness to it when you enter. We try to keep a peaceful environment. Lessons are tailored to each student's ability and most often, one-on-one instruction is necessary.
My Project
Help me give a select few students the opportunity to EARN Boxing Gloves for our NEW TCC21 Workout from Home Team! They will complete worksheets to track their phyical activity as well as their typing homework. We are tailoring all Internet Research Assignments to boxing related professionals and will even creat a YouTube video on this where students can follow and learn the basics of boxing from REAL professionals like Floyd Mayweather and try these punches and exercises from home. They will be motivated and eager to learn with our class videos! We can't wait to start!
