My Project
My students attend and inner-city, urban school in a multiculturally diverse neighborhood in our city. My students love to see brand new equipment arrive so they can play a new game. My class has been voted as the most fun, for obvious reasons. Their eyes light up when they see something we've never had or used before.
I need bowling pins for a large amount of games and activities, including our recreational games unit.
I have taught in many places during my career and this is the only time I have been without bowling pins. I want to give my students the same exposure and experiences as their peers in other and nearby schools. When speaking with other PE teachers, they can't believe we don't have any. Instead of borrowing them from a fellow PE teacher, only to have to return them, my school needs their own.
