Every child deserves a chance to learn and be successful, especially in my class.
I teach elementary physical education in a Title I school to about 600 students.
I also teach a special needs class to about 15 students who love to move and explore when they come to my class. Some of these students have limited mobility in which I need adaptive equipment to provide success.
My Project
With your donation of the bowling ramp, I will be able to provide lessons that will help improve my students' rolling skills and independent learning in small station work. My students who normally need assistance to complete skills may not need any or less with the ramp.
The addition of the bowling ramp will definitely boost the confidence of my students by allowing them to work independently on their skills.
This resource is also important because my students are involved in Special Olympics. This allows them to not only practice the skill but learn the game of bowling.
