Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have a great group of kiddos here at CHS, located in southeast Houston our students are often overlooked and do not experience everything that they should, they have jobs, help with younger sibling and still make an effort to receive an education. I love their resilience and work effort.

I plan to use the materials to help teaching to identify different flowers, and how to place them in arrangements, as well as how to wrap arrangements.

We do not get the chance to practice will real flowers often so this is a great alternative hands on activity.

These materials will help with our agricultural science class, Floral Design, advanced and Principles classes about 108 students
