I'm on a safari to find kids that are just "busting at the seams" with stories to write! I'm an elementary school teacher at our county's specialty center for children with special needs.
We have students from all ends of the spectrum, but what they all have in common is a creative mind ready to share - let's let them be AUTHORS of their ideas and help them make books. I am struggling to find a way to get them to want to write. I had just enough supplies for them to make 2 books, but now that's all gone!
Our very generous PTA gave us book binding machines for each grade level, but we're out of card stock! We desperately need various colors of card stock to use for covers on the books students write.
We could be "growing" the next J.K. Rowling! All a child needs is someone to believe in them and a place to put down their thoughts! We're counting on you to be the "cover" on their imagination. Support our dream and we'll send you a copy of one of theirs!!!!
