Bouncy Bands Improve Concentration and Student Performance!

Help me give my students tools to increase attention and focus. Bouncy bands are durable, long-lasting fidget tools that help students who struggle with attention-deficiet disorders improve their ability to stay focused for longer periods of time.

My Project

Bouncy bands (which attach to the legs of student desks) come highly recommended as a tool to keep active students focused and comfortable during the school day. Bouncy bands give students a silent alternative to relieve energy in place of tapping their pencil, moving around the classroom, or leaning back in their chair. They are a safe alternative that eliminates the distraction of nearby students.

In my classroom, students have movement breaks built into their day, but they still spend a substantial amount of time at their desks working independently and collaboratively with others.

Having tools available to increase focus and silently release energy will allow all students, and especially students with diverse needs, to devote more time to producing quality work and discussion.

Bouncy bands will help students that need a little extra support with attention and energy regulation achieve their personal best in a classroom setting.
