My Students
Teaching in a low-income high poverty school can be challenging. My students go through many things inside and outside of the classroom, but that doesn't stop them. Everyday they come in excited and ready.
I promised I would do my best for them, and they promised to do their best for themselves.
They love reading, writing, and anything else that allows them to move. We make goals & try to reach them, if we don't we keep going knowing we did our best. There isn't failure, there is only learning.
My Project
I have recently brought stability ball into the classroom and tested it with the students. They loved it and it will be beneficial for everyone in the class. My students are my kids and I treat them as such. I want the best for them and I think providing a way to help them concentrate will help them be better.
Stability balls improve posture and concentration, it helps students with attention challenges, and it gets both parts of the brains working.
My kids can be a little unfocused and have a hard time sitting still. I know these balls will be beneficial to my students and I can't wait to see how they help them blossom.
