My students love to play active games in my physical education class. New equipment is always exciting for my students. The maximum class size was recently increased in our school, and we need a few additional pieces of equipment to complete a class set.
My students love Physical Education class.
It is the highlight of the day for a lot of them. Many of them come from one parent, low income homes. A high percentage of my students are in the free and reduced lunch program. Having quality, enjoyable Physical Education is important for the future of my students.
My Project
My classes enjoy having scooter boards for a variety of activities. One of the favorites is scooter ball which also uses the giant Nylyte ball as a part of the game. We need another set of scooters to complete a class set so every student can have a scooter to use and a new ball because ours is worn out. When we have enough for the entire class to use, the students can remain more active throughout class which is always a goal in physical education.
My physical education program promotes fair play, cooperation, skill building and lifelong fitness.
Having developmentally appropriate equipment to help implement this program is very important for my students and their physical education class.
