My students are active, creative preteens. Many of them have lots of excess energy that can sometimes get in the way of their learning. They need to be able to move around, release energy, help self-regulate their attention and focus. Unfortunately, the way that most classrooms are set up doesn't allow for that movement.
I want my classroom to be a place that students can't wait to get into.
I want my bright, kids to be able to channel their energy into their work.
My Project
My students are so excited about learning. They are so excited that sometimes their energy comes out in distracting ways. These ball chairs will allow them to wiggle, bounce, roll, and rock themselves around as they work on their assignments.
We weren't meant to sit in chairs all day!
My students need to move to help them learn. My students need to get away from those hard plastic chairs, if even for a little while. They will benefit from having at least one class a day where they have flexible seating. I am so excited to bring this opportunity to them.
