My Students

Young learners are very active and kinesthetic learners! It is very challenging for students to sit in their chair for any length of time. Before long, students are standing up, hunched over their desk working with chairs pushed away. Help these kids stay focused and be healthier with ball chairs!

Our students are young, active, and eager to learn.

We celebrate our diversity by embracing all the different cultural and ethnic groups in our school. Over 50 different languages are spoken and our ELL population is growing rapidly. With that growth comes great opportunities to support each other in learning. Over 80% of our student population is eligible for free/reduced rate lunch, so students and families face challenges on a daily basis. The greatest achievement of all is seeing students arrive at school each day ready to learn.

My Project

I am requesting 25 ball chairs for my active students. Many classrooms that invested in ball chairs have seen an increase in students' focus, improvement in academics, better posture, and they simply enjoying staying at their desk while learning with their classmates. Kindergarteners are young and active and the ball chairs will help students be less sedentary during the times they must be working at a table. Help our students increase their focus and enjoy desk work with these amazing and beneficial ball chairs!

Your donation will help a child to do so many things like, learning letters, reading, writing, counting, adding, subtracting, cooperation, and the list truly does go on!

Help these energetic learners release some physical energy while engaging in our rigorous curriculum to get them ready for first grade!
