My Students
Education is the doorway to opportunity. As an early childhood educator, I have made it my priority each day to create excitement in our classroom while creating a love of learning.
I have a classroom of 18 active and energetic first graders.
Our school is located in Central Florida in a rural area with approximately 61% of our students on free or reduced lunch. My students are eager to learn, and I want to provide them with every possible opportunity to help them reach their goals.
My Project
First graders are movers and shakers! They learn by doing things. I balance learning in our classroom with lessons, center activities, and technology. With the help of these five ball chairs, the children will be able to stay seated and focused during lessons as well as at centers.
Your donation will make it possible for my students to stay seated and work during instructional time.
Many six and seven year olds have the urge to get up and move around. The ball chairs will give my students the opportunity to get their energy out WHILE working and learning!
