This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Sitting in a seat all day can be challenging for many students. Sometimes you need to "bounce out" anxiety and stress. Having a mini trampoline will allow the students to release their negative feelings, promote positive emotions and have some fun too! The hopscotch will enable the students to move around the classroom in a controlled setting while jumping on the trampoline will reduce their anxiety, stress, and frustration and allow them to express their feelings calmly. Sometimes students need to be alone for a few minutes, and the tent will allow them a safe place where they can be "alone" while safely being monitored.

When students are focused and feeling good, they will retain more information.

Providing these activities will allow the students to release their energy while exercising. In addition to releasing energy, the students are strengthening their muscle-bone relationship and working on balance and coordination. Releasing the positive hormones will allow the students to decrease any sadness or anxiety they may be feeling.
