My kindergarten students and I will be traveling on an educational journey together.

My students are learning and growing every day, not only academically but socially as well. My goal for my students is to have them fall in love with school so that they will become life long learners.

Despite so many hardships, my students are eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful in all they do.

We thank you so much for helping us create a classroom where we can grow, thrive and have fun learning together!

My Project

Picture a classroom full of 25+ kindergarteners. There is SO much movement. It is not fair to expect children to sit completely still the entire school day. These students thrive the more they move, so alternative seating, like balance balls, will be a huge success. I have researched different ways to let my children complete activities other than sitting completely still with a table and chair. After observing the use of balance balls in a few classrooms, I have come to the conclusion that they would benefit the children who need to constantly move and shift positions. It is my biggest priority to have my students learn comfortably!
