My Project
In our AP Language and Composition class, our students will learn what makes writing engaging, entertaining, and inspiring.
Trevor Noah's memoir, "Born a Crime", will introduce our students to rhetoric, humor, and narrative in ways that are both hilarious and thought-provoking.
Through collaborative group work, shared reading, classroom discussion, and personal reflection, our students will use "Born a Crime" as a model for discovering and sharing their own authentic voices, stories, and perspectives on the world. We've seen the power-sharing stories can have; thank you for helping make this project a reality!
