This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students have been learning about controlling their emotions in a classroom setting and with that we are trying to learn how to play together as a team. What better way than to play board games during our SEL time! Many students find time for computer games, and don't quite understand that they can still have fun without computers.
My goal is to provide students with engaging board games that are fun but still have critical-thinking skills during their SEL time on Fridays.
Students enjoy this time because they are able to collaborate and relax with their peers. They can play different games and get ready for the day in a better mood!
