This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to make a collection of board games (Trouble, Chutes and Ladders, Tic Tac Toe, Candy Land, Guess Who?, Checkers, Perfection, etc...) that my students and other students can use to create fun and engaging opportunities. Playing board games increases interactions among the students and helps them learn to work together.

Board games offer critical thinking opportunities and winning and losing feelings.

The students can use the games at recess, free time or as a fast finisher. The bingo games offer a quick informative assessment on skills being taught and learned. The students love to take a break from learning and playing games, which honestly, offer many positive benefits. The pouches will be used to store the small game pieces.
