My Project
As an educator dedicated to fostering a love for reading and helping my students become confident readers, I'm excited to share a unique opportunity to help support my classroom with engaging, hands-on phonics materials. These resources will not only reinforce students’ phonics skills, but also provide them with meaningful, interactive practice to enhance their literacy development.
These resources are perfect for both independent learning and small-group instruction, and include:
Textured phonics cards that help students sound out CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words through tactile interaction.
Illustrated letter-building dough mats, allowing students to build and practice letters while reinforcing their understanding of letter sounds.
Magnetic write & wipe boards that encourage writing practice while students manipulate letters to create words.
Phonics games that make learning fun, motivating students to keep practicing without feeling like they're "working."
Activity cards filled with creative ideas for using each resource to target essential phonics skills.
These materials will support and enhance our reading curriculum and give students the tools they need to succeed in reading, spelling, and writing. Each activity is designed to be engaging and to make phonics practice feel like play rather than a chore.
By donating to this project, you will help ensure that my students have the best resources to build their literacy skills and develop a love for reading that will last a lifetime. I am excited to bring these dynamic, research-based materials into the classroom, and I can't wait to see the impact they will have on my students' reading success.
