My Project
My students are energetic, curious, and always ready to learn something new in music. They put creativity and energy into every rehearsal, and they thrive when given the chance to learn about a range of instruments and types of music. Several of them have had no prior experience with string instruments, especially something like an electric double bass.
This electric double bass will serve as a bridge for new learning experiences—from jazz and funk to experimental and contemporary ensemble performance.
It is more portable and takes up less storage space than a standard upright, so it is more convenient for students to practice and play. This instrument will not only enhance their technical skill but also enhance their enjoyment of Jazz music.
