My Project
This holiday season, I want to surprise my young learners with new, high-quality reading games that make learning joyful and engaging. My goal is to provide K-4 students in reading intervention with games that boost essential literacy skills—from phonics and sight words to comprehension—while they play and have fun.
I’ve seen incredible progress in my students, and I know that these games will help them retain information even better because they won’t feel like they’re "working." Instead, they’ll be exploring words, practicing reading, and building confidence in a relaxed, game-based setting.
In the past, I’ve created makeshift games to keep my students engaged, but having access to professionally designed resources like the Lakeshore Reading Comprehension Games and CVC Word Games will make an even bigger impact. Each game is specifically crafted to target different reading skills, making it easier for me to address each student’s needs.
