Boosting French Reading Skills While Learning About Fascinating French Speakers

Help me give my students accessible French reading materials about fascinating French speakers and Reader's Theater props.

My Project

My enthusiastic French learners will improve their French language proficiency and knowledge of French culture by reading. In this project, the French books will be used for whole class, small group, and individual reading lessons. In addition, the books will be added to the Free Voluntary Reading Library. The author of the series Qui parle français?, wrote the books in comprehensible French specifically for French learners. The books bring to life fascinating French speakers. The books are easy to read, comprehend, and have lots of useful high-frequency French words and structures. The stuffed animals will be used for French Reader's Theater props.

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, students have spent so much time reading on computers.

It will be nice to have actual books to hold and read while in the classroom or to take home.
