This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The flexible seating options and snacks will create a more comfortable and supportive learning environment for my English language learners. Flexible seating allows students to choose a setting that best supports their focus and engagement, helping them feel more at ease and involved in lessons. Snacks will ensure they have the energy needed to fully participate and absorb new information, addressing any potential distractions due to hunger.

My goals for this project are to enhance student engagement and comfort in the classroom by providing flexible seating arrangements and addressing basic needs with healthy snacks.

By doing so, I aim to improve their academic performance, boost their confidence, and foster a more positive and productive learning environment.

My students are remarkable for their resilience and eagerness to learn despite the challenges of acquiring a new language. Their diverse backgrounds bring unique perspectives and experiences to the classroom, enriching our discussions and creating a vibrant, collaborative learning atmosphere. Their determination and curiosity make every day an opportunity for growth and discovery.
