Boosting Brains with OSMO in the Classroom

My Project

In my kindergarten classroom, many of my students are Spanish-speaking and learning English as a second language. They are bright, curious, and eager to explore the world around them, but they often need extra support to build foundational language and academic skills. That’s why I’m requesting Osmo learning kits—to help make learning more accessible, interactive, and fun for every child.

Osmo turns a simple tablet into a powerful, hands-on learning center.

Students use physical pieces—like letter tiles, number blocks, and drawing tools—that interact with on-screen games. This multi-sensory approach is especially effective for young learners who are still developing language skills. It allows them to connect words, numbers, and ideas with real-world objects, making abstract concepts easier to understand.

For my Spanish-speaking students, Osmo provides opportunities to build English vocabulary, practice phonics, and develop early reading and math skills in a way that feels like play. The instant feedback and visual cues help reinforce understanding and keep students engaged. Osmo also encourages collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking—all essential skills in early education.

By bringing Osmo into our classroom, I can give my students a strong, joyful start to their educational journey—helping them feel confident, included, and ready to succeed both in English and beyond.
