Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The Qball is a throwable microphone to be used during class discussions.
Students love to hear their voice over a microphone, so lets also give them a microphone as a ball to throw around the classroom.
After students use the microphone to be a focused speaker they then will also get the fun of passing, throwing, tossing the ball to another student as a focused speaker. Microphones can encourage quieter or shy students to participate, as their voice is amplified and recognized. The Qball also supports peer-to-peer learning by ensuring everyone can hear classmates during group presentations or discussions.
