Help me give my students the necessary items needed to learn how to use reasoning skills to build and draw. They can become creative learners while increasing their fine motor skills.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All of my students have special needs. My school serves low income families and provides free breakfast and lunch. Many of the children enjoy learning through creative measures. Sadly, we do not have the budget for simple items such as markers and new toys to help them learn.
The markers and manipulatives will help the students learn to be more creative while learning math, reasoning skills, reading, writing and illustrating their projects.
Since the population of the classroom is mostly autistic they learn differently then other students. They are more tactile learners and would benefit from the manipulatives.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
