Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As a teacher in a low- income/ high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face during this time, I am looking to keep things simple and provide them during this time with games, books and snacks.

My classroom is a diverse community
Each and everyone of my students is unique and amazing in their own way.
They have individual learning preferences and styles that drive instruction and learning inside and outside of the classroom. My students are the future and I cannot wait to see all that they will accomplish.
It is hard to describe how difficult it is not to have a classroom full of students learning and laughing. I worry about my students. Will they have access to books, games or snacks? Through this project, I hope to provide my students with materials that will keep learning active and also, provide snacks that will allow them not to be hungry. This will also provide families with games to play.
