My third-grade students continue to experience the many social-emotional effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Before our children can thrive academically, they need to feel safe and secure in and out of the classroom.
The Ninja-Life Hack books will help facilitate social-emotional growth.
We will use these books as part of our star student routine. Each week one student will select a book to take home to practice reading and discuss with their parent. They will then get to share the book with the class at the end of the week.
As class sizes continue to grow, the desk shields requested would provide an option for students to use to create a calm desk space and allow students to increase focus.
