My Students
We are exploring the world around us, inside and outside of the traditional classroom, and learning the importance of community, past and present. By working with each other to provide a better learning environment, we are setting high goals for learning and projects.
We are a Title I school.
It takes more than just our local community to grow our classrooms. This year especially, schools like mine need additional help. With the current events, our students are being asked to do the same thing without the resources to get it accomplished.
My Project
We have a movement room that allows our students to get up and move. I want to use the boomwhackers to entice students to move in a musical way.
Boomwhackers will give students the opportunity to step away from the computer and get creative.
Our music program has been hurt by covid. Combining our movement room with music allows the students to move and create. Sitting at a computer all day with virtual learning and lack of activities have created stale students. Help me get them up and out of their seats in an engaging way.
