Help me give my students Boom cards to use with distance learning and in school when we return.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Stone's classroom raised $155

My Students
My students are from a large, urban community that welcomes families from all over the globe. They bring a special blend of linguistic diversity, background knowledge, prior experiences, and culture to our school. I teach in a grade two, inclusion classroom and more than half of my class receives special education services as well as ESL services. Free breakfast and free lunch, which are now being remotely served, are available to every child in our building each day.
My students are creative, clever, and very enthusiastic about learning.
As of March 17th, my students have been learning at home. School will be closed due to the COVID-19 virus for the rest of the school year and possibly into the next school year. This presents a challenge, as most of my students do not have access to materials that support their academic and social-emotional health at home.
My Project
Boom Cards are interactive cards that the student can use and manipulate on an iPad, Chromebook, or computer. There are many different sets available on TPT from learning how to read, adding and subtracting within 100 and many other cool options for learning.
When my students use these Boom Cards the data from my students' answers come directly to me so I am easily able to gauge my instruction from the results.
Right now I only have a few "sets" of these cards but I would like to add more to my classroom library. They would be very helpful in reinforcing skills the students will learn during both distance learning and in the classroom when we return.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
