My Students
Our students are in need of two pieces of concert percussion hardware to help improve the performance and sound of our band.
My students are from a small town in a rural area.
The members of my band are highly motivated and very enthusiastic. They are involved in many extra-curricular activities, especially sports and FFA. Due to their love of music, my students still make time for extra band activities like playing at sporting events and parades.
My Project
The first piece of hardware we are requesting is a stand to hold a suspended cymbal. This stand will help project the cymbals tone as well as eliminate the annoying rattle that we currently get with our ill-equipped drumset boom stand. The second piece of hardware is a stand to hold crash cymbals. We currently rest our cymbals on a table, which makes it very distracting when a students picks them up in preparation to play them. This also helps makes transitions between the crash cymbals and another percussion instrument smoother.
Our students are working very hard at becoming a performance group of the highest caliber.
In order for us to continue to push ourselves, we need the high quality equipment that will allow us to play our best.
