My Students

I am a K-5 Literacy Coach for a wonderful group of students and teachers! My school is in the neighborhood of North Beach in San Francisco. We are a Chinese Immersion School and highly value the diverse backgrounds of each of our students and families.

The students at my school love to learn and are very curious about the world we live in.

The teachers and students are highly motivated but most importantly is a caring, thoughtful, and supportive community.

My Project

I am a school literacy coach and am currently organizing books for students to be able to take home. We need these bookshelves so that all of the teacher's can easily find the right leveled books for their students.

In order to accelerate learning it is essential that students are reading at home and not just at school.

I have been gathering books for my school so that we can send reading material home with each and every student.

As teachers during this pandemic, we want to accelerate learning as much as possible and a vital part is being able to provide books for our students.
