This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to read! Every few weeks I send home a book order form for students that would like to purchase a book. There is always a bit of excitement when these are sent home. Students will share and compare which books they've read and which books they wish they could buy.

Unfortunately, very few are ever able to purchase any books.

Funds are tight for many families. We have a classroom library, and I would like to be able to stock the library with books of their choice. I'm hoping you can help fulfill this dream. Students made a wish list of books they wish we had in the library and this is what they came up! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
