This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach fourth grade special education in an urban environment where over 95 percent of my students are below the poverty level.

All of my students are struggling readers.

Most of my students are reading at the kindergarten and first grade level. Most of the books in my classroom are at the third through fifth grade level. They need books at their level!

Please help my students feel important and improve their reading and writing skills by donating to purchase books and supplies at their level!
