Books to Support Social and Emotional Development in Preschoolers!

Help me give my students books to support social, emotional, and adaptive skills. All important aspects of school readiness and indicators of overall achievement later in life.

My Project

The books that I have chosen for this project address specific social, emotional, and adaptive skills for Pre-K children. I plan to start by reading these books aloud to students in my classroom. As they develop in the area of literacy they can use these books on their own to practice their Social Emotional Skills.

Research shows that children who have opportunities to practice social and emotional skills become more successful adults.

I believe in the power of social emotional learning and have seen the ways in which social emotional learning can impact relationships, academics, and future opportunities for students.
