Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from diverse neighborhoods. They are all eager learners despite the many challenges they may face. They come from diverse backgrounds, both economically and culturally. I am proud to say our school is all-inclusive, and we celebrate the diversity of our students to the max.

Many of our families are first and second-generation immigrant families who are new to the country, planting seeds for their own success and for future generations to come.

Education is a top priority, regardless. Invest in our future! We will all benefit!

My Project

I need books for students at all levels, especially at levels well below grade level. I want my students to have access to literature that will help them at least have the basic skills of reading. The pandemic has brought to light the inequity of resources in households across America. Please help me bridge that gap that allows students to hold on to the hope of succeeding in a world that requires you to be literate.

I need books for all my students.

Please help me keep the hope alive. The books will bring access and confidence that anything can be overcome.
