My Project

Books are incredibly important for Pre-K students as they foster crucial skills like language development, literacy, and imagination while also introducing them to the world and expanding their knowledge.

Books help the Pre-K students learn about the sounds, words, and the structure of language, which is essential for developing early literacy skills.

Reading also helps children develop phonemic awareness, the ability to hear and manipulate sounds in words, which is a key predictor of reading success.

Books stimulate critical thinking, problem-solving, and memory skills.

They provide a foundation for understanding the world around them, helping the Pre-K students make sense of their experiences and learn new concepts.
