This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are full of life and energy. The students are curious and ready to explore the world! The students are so special but they don't realize their potential because they have limited experiences and exposure. They look forward to school.
These students are like fireballs, full of burning desire ready to explode!
The students are lively and can't wait to get started for the day. They come to school with all the prior knowledge they have and they make the best of school anyway regardless of any challenges. My students are very deserving regardless of what one may think of a Title I community.
My Project
Providing books for the students will show them how important reading is and teach them to love books. My goal is to inspire the student to be life-long readers and enjoy the freedom it provides. I want to encourage my students to get excited about reading and guiding them to find their best interest. The hardback books will help secure protection of the books for longevity. I teach young students and I want them to experience holding physical books in their hands again.
Teaching virtually has adjusted the education field, and a mobile desk, webcam, and mobile whiteboard will ensure that my students are ready for the change.
My students will benefit from the mobile desk because they are able to see me from home virtually as well as being accessible in the classroom. The webcam will provide the best video for the students at home to feel just as apart of the classroom.
Lastly, the mobile whiteboard is the game changer. Being able to roll the whiteboard around and station it where ever you need it during these virtual times is almost too good to be true. My students in the classroom as well as at home will all be able to see the board, which is beneficial for everyone! My students and I will be forever grateful.
