My Project

My students have silent reading time in class every day- if we don't model it, they won't do it. Many are just returning to the joys of reading from a long drought of required book reports, reading logs, mandatory projects, etc. and can't believe they get to read a book "just for fun?"

My students are a variety of 10th graders- some in our school's arts or law program, but most taking regular classes and working toward graduation.

They have precious few moments each day to relax and enjoy themselves (most have jobs). Help me make 10 of those minutes count with good books!
