My students love to read. At each transition they ask if it's time to read yet. With that enthusiasm for books, they deserve as many books as I can give them. They also deserve books that will reflect their unique, diverse selves and all their many interests.
Please help me give my students books that make them laugh and books that make them think and books that will motivate their continued love of reading.
As the year progresses, my students need more age appropriate chapter books to challenge them to keep growing as readers. We also need more language rich literature to read aloud and fuel many conversations.
