My Project

I teach 2nd grade at a fantastic elementary school in NC. My students are wonderful! My classroom is home away from home for each student. I love having fun with my students and knowing I am making a difference in each child’s life.

I would like to provide each student with their own copy of 2 books we will read this year.

First, Charlottes Web-who doesn’t love this story about friendship and love? Next is Best Christmas Pageant Ever-a book that teaches a great lesson.

After reading Charlottes Web, we will watch the movie. After reading The Best Christmas Pageant, we will go on a field trip to see the play at a children’s theatre. I love for my students to be able to compare the book to a movie or play.

My hope is that my students can benefit from having their own copies of these two fantastic books. I want to create a passion for reading and give them the best gift of all-reading!
