My Project

My students often shy away from books. As a dyslexia therapist I work in small group pull out working with students diagnosed with dyslexia. Often, my babies have already reached a point where they have given up and suffer from low self-esteem.

I want to build my library to include as many books as possible that reflect MY students.

Students that struggle, yet persevere and succeed.

Each book I have chosen includes a character with dyslexia that overcomes their reading difficulty through hard work and each book is high interest thereby luring my reluctant readers in.
