This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books are carefully chosen to meet the needs of young readers at a variety of reading levels and interests. From laugh-out-loud funny stories to heartfelt tales that build empathy, and from exciting beginner chapter books to engaging nonfiction, this collection will help me create a vibrant classroom library where every child can find something they connect with. Whether they’re just beginning to decode words or are ready to dive into their first chapter series, each student will be able to see themselves as capable, confident readers.

Your support will help ignite not just a love of reading, but also a sense of belonging and pride.

For many of my students, this will be the first time they’ve seen books that truly speak to them—books that make them laugh, wonder, dream, and think. With your help, these books will become beloved treasures that my students return to again and again, helping them build a lifelong relationship with reading.
