My Project
All children should have the opportunity to read. My third grade class works very hard everyday in reading groups to read a book on their level and complete worksheets and activities that follow the given stories. Due to learning loss during the pandemic my students are in need of books that challenge and our classroom library is in need of more book choices to help support the readers that are still behind from the pandemic. These books will be a stepping stone for my readers and increase confidence and reading skills in my classroom. The bookshelf will help make my library look more like a library and the TPT gift card will give me additional reading resources I can use to strengthen their learning in class. I want to see how much they can learn through the school year and be better prepared for the state test.
