My Project

My students come from diverse backgrounds and learning experiences. They are unique, curious, and tenacious learners who benefit from meaningful social emotional instruction.

The Little Spot, Julia Cook, and Zach books allow students to connect with characters while identifying emotions, processing experiences, and learning healthy coping strategies.

The goal of this project is to expand resources focused on feelings, growth mindset, grief, and executive functioning. These skills are essential to social emotional development and strongly support academic engagement, resilience, and long term success for all learners across varied classroom settings.
