My Students

I am a Special Education teacher in a Third Grade Integrated Co-Teach Class where there are Special Education students learning alongside general education students.

Our school consists of culturally and linguistically diverse students within a low socioeconomic community.

This past year has been a challenging one with students learning remotely. Children have suffered academically, but moreover, socially and emotionally. Returning back to the classroom is challenging but my students are eager to learn.

My Project

Our classroom is lacking themed books. The collection of themed books that I chose will be a great addition to our classroom library! The more I am able to immerse my students in a variety of genres, the more I am able to reach all learners.

Hard cover colorful themed books are a great way to encourage the love of reading.

Kids love to read themed books! Whether it be a holiday book or a specific topic/theme, kids get excited and immersed in what our topic is or what we are learning.

Please help me show my students the adventure and love of reading!
