This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project will provide our public preschool classroom with a variety of books that will help students find their love for reading through books that show them what kindness and acceptance looks like.

These books give us an opportunity to have conversations about feeling accepted at school, how to show kindness, and how to be a good student.

These books demonstrate acts of courage, persistence, patience, and acceptance. Books are a way to teach about different cultures and different viewpoints for our students.

Also included is a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to help secure additional reading resources for students.
